Thursday, October 28, 2004:  My first day at my new new job was great!  Night and day difference between here and the last place...  For one, I only have 2 days to train!!!  Egads!!!  But the lady whose place I am taking is going to try to come in next Friday and check in on me and my list of questions I'll have by then, and everyone else has promised to help with anything they can.  I gather that when one person is out here, everyone pitches in and was told that we all get cross-trained to some degree in each other's jobs (or Desks, as they seem to call it).  Also the phone system seems fairly simple and I have quite some experience in that field, as long as the switchboard is not too complicated, and this isn't even in that category of phone volume.  There is no real "switchboard", just a multi line phone system.  The atmosphere at this place is much more friendly and team-y feeling, and the girls all seem to be closer to my age than I am used to, and I mean that in a really really good way.  Gonna go settle down to Seinfeld for a while and relax, y'all come back now, y'hear?

Wednesday, October 27, 2004:  Okay, last night we went a little wild...  got Soul Plane (ran it - very funny), White Chicks, Dragonslayer, The Wrong Guys (don't know anything about it except it has several of our favorite comedians in it), The Fearless Vampire Killers, Phantom Ship, and The Ghoul.  Then got home, found a $10 off Barnes & Noble coupon code posted online...  email me if you're interested...  and got Seinfeld - I'm Telling You for the Last Time for $2.98!!!  All in all, quite the haul,  Next Wednesday is Carmen, the first opera of the season and our first time to have VIP parking passes.  Very exciting!  Well, I better go, got things to do today, be back soon...

Tuesday, October 26, 2004:  Well, it's Tuesday!  Not sure what we're going to get tonight, but turns out that Primus has a new DVD coming out soon.  And I never did make note of it here, but anyone who has a good sense of humor and enjoys William Shatner, check out his new CD!  Produced and co-written by Ben Folds, has several notable appearances, including my man Henry Rollins.  They "can't get behind that".  But it is really surprisingly good, you just have to appreciate it for what it is.  Judy is on now, gotta split, but I'll come back and update our purchases later tonight.

Monday, October 25, 2004:  Okay, I'm ready to start posting again...  gonna be spotty while I'm working on the picture galleries.  They have been long neglected, and I need to get some scanning done.  Will get back soon...
